LES PETITES HISTOIRES DES GRANDS PRODUITS CULTES

LOOKY bags for the eyes
"It was my pharmacist in Hungary who taught me that a mixture of camomile blossoms, violet flowers and rose petals with boric acid was good for the eyes.
Thanks to my beautician customers, who requested a product to ease tiredness and bring radiance to the eyes, I came out with my Looky bags.
Beauticians all know very well that the best facial treatment is worthless if you have tired eyes. My bags are placed in hot water: the pleasant aroma of plants and the heat make the customer relax and almost put her to sleep while the masks are working.
When I introduced the Looky bags in New York, where I settled in 1941, I had barely any beauticians as customers (they were few in number at the time) but instead men like Danny Kaye and company presidents! They bought the product to rest their eyes, along with their head, often subjected to heavy mental stress! » Ella Baché
