YOUR SKIN IN 3 DIMENSIONS
1 - The deepest layer of your skin:
the Hypodermis, is not visible to the naked eye. It is composed of fatty cells (adipocytes) which, when they store up " fat " produce displeasing bulges. They cover the body and face, but in varying quantities: in women, there are more of them in the belly, buttocks and thighs. In men, they are concentrated on the abdomen.
2 - The middle layer :
the Dermis, resembles a gel in which cells are immersed, veritable factories making molecules of youthfulness, such as collagen or hyaluronic acid. The dermis forms a spongy cushion that gives your skin its springy, firm consistency.
This layer also contains a network of tiny blood vessels that distribute nutrients from food to your skin. Cosmetic products cannot penetrate down to the dermis : The role of food intake is thus essential. It is the first beauty product you give your skin.
