NUTRIDERMOLOGIE ® MENUS SUITED TO SKIN PROBLEMS

Figure problems

The diet and hygiene of our sedentary lifestyle no longer enable us to eliminate excessive "fat". Our adipocytes (or fatty cells) store up these excesses, their volume increases and we see appearing on the skin's surface those irregularities known as "orange-peel" skin.
Due to hormonal effects, women also have a tendency to retain water in their cells, especially a few days before their period. This phenomenon is called "water retention". Since this water is loaded with toxins, it accentuates the formation of the orange-peel effect.

Women with orange-peel skin are not necessarily overweight; the bulging deposits may be very localised and are not always in the same places on the body. These "excessive curves" are categorised into two main body types, called morphotypes:
- the gynoid morphotype (pear shape), where the bulges appear on the hips, belly, thighs and knees;
- the android morphotype (apple shape), where the excesses are stored along the waist band (the waist is no longer delineated) and in the arms. The legs remain quite slim.
